Clean those poopy diapers!
If you are looking for a detergent that is safe for your baby and can clean the messiest cloth diaper, give Country Save a try. They come in powdered or liquid formulas. Very inexpensive as well compared to other detergents, around 12 cents per load! This brand is very popular among cloth diaper enthusiasts. I usually add a little Oxy Clean, the one especially for baby, into the load as well!

Finally gave the bumGenius 3.0 a try. Better than an Econobum?
This all-in-one cloth diaper is pretty easy to put on. Looks similar to the Econobum, but the bumGenius uses diaper inserts instead of prefolds. Kept my baby dry so far. No leaks yet. They are bulky on your baby, but not as bulky as an Econobum with a prefold. I find they also contain the mess better than an Econobum. My only gripe with using bumGenius with the inserts is that once its soiled, you cannot reuse the diaper cover unlike the Econobum diaper covers where you can just put in a new prefold. They are more expensive than Econobums. If you want to buy bumGenius, Cotton Babies has the best deal in my opinion, you get 6 for $86.90. Click on their 'On Sale Now' link. If you want to give the Econobum a try, get the trial pack with 3 prefolds at Cotton Babies for $11.95, which I think is a great deal. By the way, they also have the bumGenius 4.0 available. Oooh I wish I had those, but they are even more expensive!

Breast Milk Ice Cubes?!
I decided to try a different way to store and freeze my breast milk. Previously I was using the Lansinoh breast milk storage bags. I had no problems with these bags and they were very easy to use. On the bag there is a place where you can date and indicate the number of ounces. I bought these Fresh Baby breast milk trays at Babies R Us, they come in 2 trays per package. It looks like your basic ice cube trays, but with a lid to prevent spills. It is FDA approved as food-safe plastic. I also bought some freezer bags at the dollar store to store them in. I just indicate the date on the bag with a sharpie and each cube is about an ounce, so I no longer need to indicate the number of ounces on the bag. A cheaper alternative to breastmilk storage bags such as the Lansinoh. Plus when your baby is on solids, you can also use these trays to store pureed food as well!
Reusable Nursing Pads
Running low on disposable nursing pads so I stopped by Target and found some NUK reusable nursing pads for around $3. Each package contains 6 nursing pads. I bought 2, but I haven't tried them yet. I am up for anything reusable and washable meaning less waste! Keep an eye out for my review on it!
