Charlie's Soap is the Best Laundry Soap!

Started using for cloth diapers, but I have now started using this to wash all of our clothes as well.  Great at removing tough stains.  Leaves your clothes so clean that you do not need additional static/fabric softener.

If you live in Texas, you can find them at Central Market (it's like the Whole Foods version of HEB) for $10.49!  Beats the prices I am seeing from online stores.

I have turned into a Gymbomom

So what's with the hiatus?  I have been busy buying and selling clothes on eBay from Gymboree.  It turns out there are plenty of other Gymbomoms out there.  If you like to dress up your kid, buy from Gymboree and sell them on eBay once they have outgrown it.  Gymboree is one of the best brands to resell!  With all the promotions that they have and the Gymbuck offer, their clothes can be cheap, yes even cheaper than what you can pay at Target or Warlmart and this is for high quality clothing!

Follow their Collections and Lines.  I love it when I see other kids wearing Gymboree, and you know which line its from!

My favorite past and current collections are: Pups and Kisses, Bright Tulip, Bee Chic, Flower Showers, and Panda Academy

I have found dressing up your kid doesn't have to be expensive and can be fun since I love shopping on a bargain!

Free Bodysuit Offer from Gymboree!

All you need to do is spend at least $10, which is not hard to do at Gymboree!  Click here to be directed to Gymboree.

Teaching your baby to feed and drink by themselves

A good age to give your baby a sippy cup is around 6 months.  Start with a sippy cup that has a control valve inside, handles for baby to grip easily with both hands, and a soft spout.  Also when you feed them solids, give them a spoon of their own to hold.  They'll start putting it in their mouth where it's supposed to go!  Finger foods is a good type of food to teach them how to feed themselves.  Now table manners...well we might not tackle that one in a while  :-)

Clean those poopy diapers!

If you are looking for a detergent that is safe for your baby and can clean the messiest cloth diaper, give Country Save a try.  They come in powdered or liquid formulas.  Very inexpensive as well compared to other detergents, around 12 cents per load!  This brand is very popular among cloth diaper enthusiasts.  I usually add a little Oxy Clean, the one especially for baby, into the load as well!
