Teaching your baby to feed and drink by themselves
A good age to give your baby a sippy cup is around 6 months. Start with a sippy cup that has a control valve inside, handles for baby to grip easily with both hands, and a soft spout. Also when you feed them solids, give them a spoon of their own to hold. They'll start putting it in their mouth where it's supposed to go! Finger foods is a good type of food to teach them how to feed themselves. Now table manners...well we might not tackle that one in a while :-)
